Joshua spent his formative years studying guitar and composition in Boston, at the world-renowned Berklee College of Music. Over the years he has studied with many of the greatest, contemporary jazz artists including Pat Metheny, Lyle Mays, Mike Stern, and others. He is a past recipient of a Bronze Medal in the prestigious Global Music Awards
and his compositions have been sought after by Grammy-Award winning artists. No less than legendary fusion guitarist, Jamie Glaser (Chick Corea, Jean Luc Ponty), calls Joshua “one super-talented guitar player!” Back home, in the Bay Area, he has always sought out and played with the finest musicians. With the “70’s Jazz Rock Revue,” Joshua has assembled the finest Bay Area musicians to celebrate some of the best jazz-rock music ever created!

He grew up in suburban NYC studying classical and jazz piano but after college mostly played bass, guitar, and drums up until his 30’s. Meanwhile he is also involved in the world’s biggest scientific projects that scan astronomical data for technical signatures from advanced alien civilizations.

Dan is a bassist and recording engineer/producer living in the San Francisco Bay Area. A versatile performer on both upright and electric basses, Dan has performed on concert stages, festivals and clubs nationwide and internationally with a diverse
range of artists, from jazz pianist, Geoffrey Keezer and singer Kenny Washington to Julio Iglesias, to the San Francisco and Puerto Rico performances of the musical Hamilton. In addition to his career as a performer, Dan has been featured on hundreds of recordings, both as a bassist and a recording engineer/ producer, and can be found working at his own studio in El Cerrito as well as freelancing at studios around the Bay Area.

own groups, he has performed with jazz greats such as Lee Konitz, Gene Perla, and Ira Sullivan, with singer-songwriters including Vusi Mahlasela, Stew, and Meklit Hadero, Afrobeat bands Albino and Soji Odukogbe, a multitude of experimental/new music collaborators including Ben Goldberg and Nathan Clevenger, and countless other artists. Spanning three decades, his list of recording credits includes dozens of albums and guest appearances in a wide variety of genres, as he maintains an active recording schedule as a studio musician. He is also a member of the Schimscheimer Family Trio (with Kasey Knudsen, Michael Coleman, and special guest Ben Goldberg), in which he uses a self-designed hybrid electro-acoustic setup.
